Do you feel grown up?
Starting Wednesday, I will be doing something that, for the first time in my life, will officially make me feel like a real grown up.
I don’t really know why, but I’ve never felt like a real adult, even though I do all the things that adults do - I have a job, I pay bills, I have my own apartment. I have responsibilities, or at least what I think are responsibilities, which I’ve come to realize are no where near as important as I always thought they were.
It’s almost like I’ve been playing a game with myself. Until now.
And I’m scared.
